Pros +
- Unlike many hotel breakfasts, it had different options all three mornings I was there! It was tasty fare, and they even had what I think were fried scallops one morning. The room was clean and comfortable, and the women’s bath area had a code for security purposes. They also will give you free drink coins in exchange for choosing the eco-friendly cleaning option, which I appreciated. There’s also easy coin laundry on the premises, and a tasty Marugame Udon nearby. They also have a cute stamp you can ask to use at the desk.
- Free breakfast was good and the restaurant downstairs for dinner was convenient, fairly priced and had a good selection.
- Good facilities nearby, good space for luggage, provided with breakfast.
Cons -
- The bus stop is quite close, but know that it’ll still take about 30 minutes to get into downtown Aomori, if most of your plans are there.
- We had a smoking room booked by accident and it was very smelly. The bed and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. Far away from the train station and city centre, required a taxi or lots of walking to go anywhere. Staff didn't speak any English.

Everything is very good the staff are excellent.
The rooms are a bit too small. And the beds a little bit too hard.
What an unexpected pleasure. We booked this hotel at the last minute, needing a hotel with free parking. From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed by every member of the staff; from the helpfulness of the check in to the man who helped us find a close parking lot. The room was HUGE. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was luxurious, the breakfast buffet convinced us to book another Route Inn hotel in Nagoya. But the BEST thing about this hotel is the staff. Every staff member we encountered (front desk, breakfast, housekeeping} were exceptional in every way.
Absolutely nothing!
Staff went out of the way to help me, room was large, coffee available any time, breakfast was good
Only staying 1 night
breakfast is delicious, room is clean.
Small room.
The room size was too small for two persons. Single and double room are the same size but price is much higher.
The location of the hotel good, restaurants are close by walking distance, hotel has its own restaurant with good and not expensive menu. 24 hours front desk service and free coffee machine is installed in the lobby. Big reason for the booking is Breakfast buffet, and they change the menu everyday. Breakfast expensive was ? great. We spend 5 nights there. Good experience.
The pillows were not so comfortable. And bed was a little bit shakey.
Decent breakfast buffet, onsen
Expensive for what it was (business hotel, 15 minute bus ride to the city center), though I did visit at one of the busiest time of the year (Nebuta) so that was probably why (peak season).
